What to watch?

I have about 12 hours of flight time and potentially four hours alone in a strange place with no internet ahead of me, and I want to travel light. I have about 30 GB of portable storage space.

I should use at least some of the time to explore and get to know the area I'm likely to be living in, but there's still probably a lot of downtime I'll be looking to fill (the plane, if nothing else). I figure this is a good opportunity to catch up on older television or movies I may have missed, since books really don't travel well enough for this trip with current checked-bag fees.

Any suggestions of things I may not have thought of?
