Small Achievements...

Cleaned my kitchen - all the dirty dishes, pots, utensils, etc that had been accumulating, the counter, the floor, and even the kitchen sink.

Set up an extension cord so I can use my laptop in the kitchen without having to avoid cable.

Mounted a full-length mirror on my wall - in a makeshift way that I hope will hold.

Put up a tapestry I got this weekend in the corner over my bed.

In fits and starts, this place is turning into a real apartment. I feel like it's time to be moving out or something...I think Vassar life overconditioned me to the 9 month plan.

when i suggested you hang it on the wall, i didn't know you were going to make it all baggy-like ;-p *i* thought you were just going to hang it flat, as that's kinda what one does, on say, a *wall*!

I have slanted walls, and it's in the corner. There's no way to hang it flat over there.

but it's your apartment... go ahead and hang it however you so choose *smile*
