Well, as long as I've got this thing, I might as well use it. I think I'll use this for all the sorts of stuff I don't really want to put in my diary. Quick updates on my life, silly stuff, generally things that don't matter. It'll probably get pretty whiny. Feel free to filter me out of your friends list if you aren't interested.

Whine of the moment: somebody is unclear on the difference between private and public members of a class. This is irritating.

laughter This is what you get for being competent. You should see if Nancy will hire you to work with me that one night a week -- it'd be nice to not have to handle teaching everyone something I don't really know by myself. :)

My current plan, which I cooked up with mosephine last week, is to start doing my work for class, and try to let it be known among the students that I know Java and people are welcome to ask me for assistance if they'd like when I'm down there. That way I wouldn't have to commit myself to being there at any particular time, but I can still be helpful to people.

(For that matter, I can help with C++ too)

I was hoping you might be willing to help spread the word about this. I haven't decided whether to talk to Nancy about it at all.
