Thank you everybody who's offered support and company over the last couple of days. I really appreciate it.

I'm going in tomorrow morning, and I'll probably not be doing a lot of computer for a bit after (but who knows, really?).

To those who have offered to come visit, my parents' house is in forested hills style suburbia, something like two miles from either of the nearest train stations on the Harlem Line. Most people probably wouldn't want to walk it. I'm assuming I won't be up to coming down into the city for a while, but, again, who knows. I do appreciate the offers to possibly come visit. Over the next couple days I might send some emails/make phone calls to see if anything makes sense. If not, there's always sleep and TV.

I should have tracked down the first couple seasons of House on DVD; I could make it a tradition to watch it while I'm on painkillers and thus not forming memories very well.
