After two years, I've finally stained, sealed, and assembled my futon stand, so I now have a sofa in my apartment. It's actually a coincidence that this, errr, coincides with my obtaining my first television . . . I'd started the assembly project before I knew I was getting one.

The place is kind of a mess right now, but I think this is going to lead to its feeling larger overall, and it will certainly make it more comfortable for entertaining. I should be able to have 8-10 seated guests, and they should have line of sight to one another. And I ought to be able to get a tabletop RPG around the table comfortably.

Now I just need to clean this mess....
