Well, I finished Xenogears. I did so in a very atypical manner for me, actually -- at a point when I could have wandered all over the world finding, I'm sure, all sorts of nifty stuff to power me up for the final stage, I instead just went straight in, pushed to the end, and defeated the final boss on the second try. A part of me kind of wants to go back and see what I missed now . . . and I may, sometime.

Given that I was getting kind of tired of playing the game, though, and that it's been distracting me from my work, hopefully I'll be able to set it aside for a while now and get some work done. I'm not sure why I've had so much trouble getting started with this project . . . I'm really excited about it, at least at some level. I would have hoped I would have gotten past this difficulty starting things by now.
