Wow. We just had an incredible 5-minute thunderstorm. Once again, the windows didn't break. This time, my apartment windows were mostly closed - hopefully all will be relatively dry.
At the height of it, I couldn't see anything but grey out our windows.
What a thing of beauty...

And the wind for five or ten minutes before the storm.... My god, it was absolutely beautiful. Now I have a tangible idea of what inspiration by Air feels like....

That line from Hamlet of course having been touted for centuries as the slogan of the Enlightenment....

Which shouldn't be so, since it's *completely* *sarcastic* in the context of the play!!!!! Argh!!!!!!

...that rant had as much to do with the context of the statement in the post to which it ostensibly replied as the statement, when applied to the Enlightenment, had to its original context.
