Last night this whole thick layer of dead skin peeled off my little finger like a snake, and revealed beneath was smooth, whole skin! It's got a dent in it where the cut was (I think from the scab getting in the way, it's a little stiffer than the rest of the skin on my fingers, and it's a bit tender right now, but...the human body is truly an amazing thing sometimes.
