Costume

I would like to state for the record that I am wearing a costume today. I'm dressed up as an English major who didn't leave Vassar soon enough, and has started his metamorphosis.
The only problem is that it's a subtle costume, and there aren't nearly enough people wearing apparent costumes here.

Probably more comfortable than my costume (which also has the problem of being a bit too basic)

That pretty accurately describes the costume, actually. Tail sticking out through a hole in the butt of my jeans, and slightly "preppier" clothes than I usually wear.
