Have I mentioned recently how poorly I do with temperatures in excess of 80°F?

No?

I do really poorly in high temperatures. I find myself constantly lethargic, I tend to sleep poorly (in addition to the former), I experience huge swings in appetite (well, I experience long stretches of complete lack of appetite due to the heat punctuated by brief periods of feeling ravenously hungry when it's cool enough I can stomach the thought of food), and I seem to process things more slowly mentally.

On top of all that, something in the current weather is exacerbating my hand pain. I can tell because I've been careful of resting myself today and the pain is getting worse with time, not better.

All this makes me really not want to leave the little bubble of coolth that is my room with air conditioning (running intermittently because the fan noise drives me kind of crazy after a while) if I can possibly avoid it. It may continue to be a sprawl on the sofa and read/watch TV kind of day. I'd been looking forward to dance, but I'm thinking I may want to skip it this time.

I should get an indoor thermometer I trust [the one on the thermostat, not so much] so I can get a better sense of what my comfortable temperature range actually is.

[Oh, NTS: currently 1016.5 mb on the theory that's relevant to my increased pain. Need a better way to collect data for that theory.]
