Well, that was fun.
At a bit under 7 hours, I'm close enough to completely dry to call it done. If I really feel for it, I can still find some dampness.
Even now that it's dry, there's some stuff underneath that's a lot straighter than the rest, with just a bit of wave to it. I wonder if that's why I get that long skinny tail on my braid even when my hair's been cut evenly.
So, yeah, that's my hair. Don't know if it would be different if I left it down regularly rather than braiding it; it might, but I'm actually not so sure the contours match the braid it last came out of. I may have just been guessing that the braiding while wet was having as significant effect on the shape I saw as I thought it was.
