Water, water, everywhere...

When I got home from the con, my toilet backed up and overflowed slightly. Some plunger work seemed to help, but then the tub started backing up too. It turns out that a slow leak in the tub caused ice down in the pipes, which froze solid and then burst the pipe after the point where all my drains converge. The upshot of all this is that I have no drainage in my apartment, and therefore cannot use my water. I've been given the keys to another apartment so I can use the toilet, but cooking is pretty much out. I don't know when they'll get it fixed.

I pretty much spent the whole week playing Nethack. I've done pretty well, although I should have spent more time out of the apartment.

I'm wimping out on Vericon this weekend because I didn't request crash space and don't know if I can get it at the last minute. Sent an e-mail, but unsurprisingly didn't get a reply, so I'm going to skip it since I don't have the obligation to go I thought I did.

That means I have to fill my weekend with local gaming. Anybody interested in gaming this weekend should let me know.

Gaming Sector is starting up this weekend. (Not that there was an NSO email or anything) But it'll be in CC235 at 1 as usual. Ending a little early (or I'll leave early at least) because of the Super Bowl. Oh, and don't ask why 235, I don't know, it's what they gave me. I don't know the room and if it isn't good then I'll ask to change it on Monday.
