Is there some fundamental law to the universe that if you decide to be a hermit for a little while, then when you come out of hiding and go looking for people there won't be anybody around?
You'd think a weekly social event would be a good opportunity to see people and socialize...
I resent Narrative Causality sometimes.

see, you're the center of the universe. everything revolves around you. and when you decide to hibernate, all the things that revolve around you decide to hibernate, too, and follow you're example, because you're the center of the universe.
now, sometimes (in fact, often) what happens is, it takes the other things a little while to decide to hibernate. and they don't want to come out of hibernation until you do. but that means that you get to spend some lovely alone time, extra and free-of-charge, that you didn't really want.
anyway, that's my theory, anyway.
maybe i just like thinking of myself as the center of the universe... it helps, anyway.

On a completely seperate note, have you been checking your Vassar email? 'Cause I sent you one like a week or so ago, and there's still no way for a non-lj-user to comment on your lj.... ::pouts::
Not that I'm saying "Hey, if you have been reading your Vassar email, I'm insulted 'cause you haven't responded yet!" Just making sure that you actually got the email. That and that it would be good to hear from you (in whatever time frame), and I haven't seen you on AIM in far, far too long.
Hope you're doing well,
::hugs::
