[x] The story behind your AIM user name: This one goes way back, to an online service known as Prodigy, in a place known to its members as the Silver Glade, and to everybody else as the MadMaze Message Board. Prodigy displayed your real name on all messages you posted, but the boards had a lot of in-character posting. At the time I joined, there was a bit of a fashion of choosing alliterative names, and using your real name as part of your character name. I wanted a word that meant wizard and alliterated with Marc, and thought of Magus as the singular of Magi. I also discovered that, under the D&D Companion Rules, a Magus was a Magic-User who had reached name-level and opted not to build a tower, but instead to wander from place to place. I decided this fit. When I joined Promenade (IIRC), the PS/One online service which later merged into AOL, I chose "Marc Magus" as my user name, which became my AOL user name. The rest is history.

My two favorites are a simple blue ceramic I bought in Israel, because it was the first thing I owned for feeding myself, and the pair of blue hand-made ceramic mugs claudiamummy gave me, because they're beautiful, fit my hand well, and were a gift from someone special.
