I swear, xmms has a mind of its own. Two songs in a row, using a random sort of lots of stuff:
Voltaire - The USS Make Sh*t Up
Ookla the Mok - Comforts of Home

And we were just talking about the former song the other day when we were watching Star Trek (TNG) and they decided to bounce a [tachyon beam, I think] off the [main?] deflector dish.

They reconfigured the main deflector dish to emit a multiphasic tachyon beam. They don't generally "bounce" things off it, although I think that the shape is meant to invoke a satellite dish, which of course reflects singles to a focal area.
