Part of being on lj is that you end up gaining a number of lj buddies. Unfortunately, as age and the drink wear away at our brains, it's easy to forget where they all came from. Post this in your journal and have your friends respond with how they recall first meeting you.

Sad thing, I think. This is making its way around my friends list today, and I'm realizing that there are a lot of people about whom I quite care, but of whom I don't have a distinct memory of first meeting. Perhaps not so sad, it's not as though I don't have memories of them.

First meeting, hmm? I know I have early memories of having lunch with you in ACDC, though I suspect our technical first meeting was at some NSO event or dinner or movie.
