It must be, I've had a sudden burst of energy to engage in constructive and cleaning tasks, such as I usually have around the onset of spring. I've started in on some serious cleaning/arranging of my room, and actually drew up a floor plan for a proposal of how the NSO's room in the basement could be rearranged to, I believe, accomodate more TV watchers and at least as much storage in the same space. It doesn't solve the noisy pipes problem, though. I've also been putting in about two hours a night this week on stuff for Noncon.
Speaking of Noncon, you all should come. We've got lots of exciting programming lined up, Go look at the website, see "Agent N", our awesome new mascot, and look at the preliminary list of events. I'll bug you all again when we have the schedule posted.
On a completely unrelated note, someone just showed me this article about astrology. The idea for the study it refers to is interesting, even if the language of the article itself isn't very neutral. I'd be interested to read the actual study.

Are you aware of magician and skeptic James Randi and his Educational Foundation? It's always informative and amusing to read his weekly commentaries on historical and contemporary paranormal and pseudoscientific claims.
