Anybody want to borrow a Marc?

[I'm not sure if this is efficient or obnoxious, but I guess I'll give it a try.]

Looks like I'm going to be doing a bit of travelling in the next few weeks. I'd like to try to chain some visits together if at all possible. This is primarily going to apply to the (many) people in NYC with whom I've been meaning to arrange visits, but I might be able to make a slightly different flight plan for Origins if someone elsewhere in the Northeast contacts me soon (as in today, before I book flights) with a proposal.

We're scheduling around my trip out to Origins (I expect to leave the afternoon of Wednesday, 29 June, and return late the night of Sunday, 3 July; I think I'm flying from Islip, which means I'm passing through NYC both ways); my User Meeting in NYC, which looks to be Wednesday, 6 July; and hopefully a dance class in NYC on Sunday, 10 July. I was thinking I might hook up with the Trivia folk on Thursday, if that's happening and one of them can put me up for the night? There's been talk of a game night/afternoon and a poker night for which this might be a good weekend. Most importantly, there are Friends I don't see nearly often enough.

I'm particularly looking at Tuesday night, 28 June, and the stretch from Wednesday through Sunday of the next week. I also don't have definite plans for the 4th yet (just one invitation that I don't know if I can turn into a transportation reality).

P.S. I'd love to come to Contata, but lack of planning and costs (particularly hotel) make that seem unlikely. I'm open to suggestions, however.

I'm traveling myself at the moment, and will be so, on and off, through somewhere up to but probably not quite July 5th. So, basically, after Origins is better for me, but then I'm around NYC pretty much the whole summer. And also am quite interested in seeing more of you. ::smiles::

That week I work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8PM to 8:30AM the following days. But if you wanna hang out and stay with us Friday or Saturday, that's my weekend. I'd love to hang out even if you have crash space elsewhere.

I'm in San Francisco till nearly midnight on Saturday, but sometime between Sunday and Tuesday we should make plans.
