Went to this great restaurant called the Golden Hill Inn (or something like that). It's in one of a pair of 1850s log cabins in this tiny little town up in the mountains, closed winters largely due to snow making it hard to get up there. Dinner was a six-course Price Fixe ($30) that was just wonderful, and the location is . . . just my style.
They said they don't run the hotel as a hotel, but they sometimes use it for Murder Mystery type events. Interesting...
