Someone just posted to a mailing list I read and signed off with the following:
"-she who is still learning the SuperFRED waltz! One, two, three AND one, two, three AND one... "
How bad is it that my first thought was, "Interesting waltz. Four steps per measure, stress in an unusual place."?
Something about it makes me think the dance would have a kind of pushing into the floor movement.

The pushing into the floor idea is highly amusing though. Especially as I in my just having awoken state took it as a push with the hands, since otherwise you would never switch feet.

If I recall correctly, Sauteuse is "ONE and two, ONE and two..." or, if you wanted to put in an emphasis like you're talking about, "One and TWO, one and TWO..." or "One and two AND one and two AND..." (or, arguably, "One, two, three, FOUR, one, two, three, FOUR...").

I think the "One, two, three, FOUR" version is the closest to "one, two, three, AND". The AND is kind of like a preparatory thing to get you ready to do it all again and again AND again AND again. (I could go on. But I won't.)
