I've made plans with a friend to start catching up on Battlestar Galactica on Monday night while I'm not allowed to dance. By some chance, we both stopped watching at the same time, after season two.
Anybody in the area who'd be willing to loan me season three on dvd for a while? I'll buy you dinner or something comparably nice...

I do have a DVD burner in my desktop and lots of DVD-authoring software. So, yes, I can make regular DVD's given a little time.
Seriously, you don't have a computer you can attach?

My laptop only has VGA out, and I don't really want to depend on my ability to show up and do something clever. Got it from work; I don't buy much hardware.
She said she didn't have an option to play from computer there. This may well change by the time we're ready for S4, though.

Do you like it?

I do; in fact, I love it. Sure, there are some things I can critique about it, but that's true about just about everything. It very often hits the kinds of buttons I want pushed when I'm watching a t.v. show, and the acting in particular I find to almost always be astonishingly good, leagues above (or at least leagues more consistent) than the majority of shows I've ever seen.
There are some places in the last couple of seasons where some viewers have felt lost, like the show they loved no longer is the show they're watching. I'm not in that camp at all; I think the show is not only generally continuing on in a way I almost always enjoy, but that what they're doing is almost always very much a callback or reaction to things and themes they've worked on before.
