I now own a "swallow-tail" coat, and all the rest of the stuff that goes along with. My mother took a couple of photos.

I hate it when my mother takes photographs of me. She insists that I "smile", and that I give a "real smile". By the latter she means an open mouth and lots of teeth. This invariably results in a photograph of me with a dorky grimace which looks nothing like me having a good time. If she'd take the photo while I'm actually smiling, I might not look ecstatic or like the expectations of someone in a photo—heck, I might not even look particularly happy—but at least I'd look like myself.

Anyway, here are the photos:

P.S. I built a good chunk of that deck.

Yes, but it was the "goodness, he doesn't look like he's aged at all!" that got me. It has been almost 10 years, hasn't it?

Can we all stop with the age thing here? Momma's a little sensitive as she enters the twilight of her twenties...

Dearheart, you'll never be more than 24. ;)

(Kidding! There are days I would swear you are wiser than I.)

I knew it was around/about the 10 year line. Just couldn't recall the before/after of it. :)
